iPhone X GPS not working - Arghhhhh!

I recently purchased a used iPhone X, iOS 16.3.1. Everything is great except the GPS can't seem to pinpoint my location and so it's (worse than!) useless for navigation. I read through a thread from 2017-2018 and have tried the standard solutions of doing the Network and Location & Privacy resets, rebooting, etc.

All an Apple Store Genius could suggest was to do the resets which was no help at all.

Is anyone else still having this issue? Was a solution ever found?

I'm beyond frustrated. Any help would be most gratefully appreciated!!

Thank you, Jeff, but I already followed those steps and they didn't fix the problem.

However, in reviewing a previous thread about the problem someone mentioned their case was the problem. I took the case off the phone (marble design embedded in clear plastic) and the GPS is now working. The next time I'm driving I'm going to put the case back on and see if it messes up the GPS again. If so, then I think the case is the issue. I'm hoping it's that simple!
