Final Cut Pro problems

Normally, when I edit a video, I can hear the audio by pressing the arrow keys or by moving the playhead with the mouse. It helps knowing where certain sounds are in a video.

Now it's silent, and it makes editing a lot harder when playing with audio.

Did I disable something by accident, can I turn in on again?

That's odd! I haven't used skimming for a while and though it works (audio and video) with the clips in the browser, nothing happens in the timeline.

Ian, I don't know why it is not working for you in the timeline.

I always keep Audio Skimming off, but I turned it on to test and sure enough, when it's one, I can hear audio both when skimming and when using the arrow keys.
