AirPods Pro 2nd Generation limited warranty only 8 months.

I have just purchased AirPods Pro 2nd Generation from Walmart (only store that had it available close to me) on 25th March 2023. The seal and everything were intact and didn't seem tampered in any way. I checked the bill and it isn't a renewed piece either. My warranty shows it expires on 25th November 2023 which is only 8 months of coverage. Is this normal? When I try to search on apple website it says "Unable to find valid purchase date" and when I try to update it it gives me "We’re unable to validate your date of purchase".
