When I screenshot on Mac, the dark screen overlay remains and I have to restart to make it go away.

Every time I screenshot on MacBook Air M2, the flipping dark screen overlay remains even after the screenshot has been taken. Please see the images and videos attached. I have to restart the Mac to make it go away, nothing else works. And then when I take another screenshot, it stays dark again. My Mac is fully updated.


I am going crazy because of this, please help me. ;w; I am going to cry, I am so frustrated... HELP ME PLEAES
