For some strange reason when using spotlight some pdfs, excel and word files l can drag and drop and som l can't, also the files that l can't drag and drop are showing up with the finder logo ?
I am using dropbox ?
Anybody have the same problem and any help to this problem.

And how exactly is Spotlight involved here...? Spotlight is a system wide search feature.

all of the files which are associated with Dropbox cannot not be drag and dropped after searching via spotlight, if a file is in the Recent or Downloads there is no problem with drag and drop.
I can open all files from spotlight.
I am 100% sure that l could drap and drop if a file was in Dropbox before.

I have the exact same issue but with Onedrive. Might be related to the new "Locations"-structure?
Also, holding down cmd, showing the finder symbol, no longer open up a finder window with the folder containing the file as it should. Probably unrelated but if it's a spotlight issue, it just might be.
