iPhone data transfer

Hi there,

I mistakenly tried to fill a hole on the screen with the acrylic. Due putting too much, it filled the whole phone inner circuit board and it created a malfunction on my iPhone 8 that will shown signs of life, like sounds and else. But cannot connect it to the laptop and doesn’t show anything on the screen.

Now, I know that phone will definitely be broken. But as I don’t have stuff stored in the iCloud, is there anyway to transfer everything from the phone to another phone or MacBook?

Like, I know that it can transfer data from iPhone to iPhone, without needing iCloud storage, if both of them work properly.

But due the iPhone 8 works is there anything that I can try to get the data back?

That is unfortunate because your iPhone must be in working order so that you can allow access to your iPhone by another iPhone or a computer. This is done by typing your passcode on the iPhone’s screen and that is not possible due to the current condition of your iPhone. You also do not have a backup either on iCloud or on a computer and therefore nothing there to restore the iPhone from.

The only thing that can be done is to get your iPhone’s display repaired/replaced and then create a backup on a computer or on iCloud to guard against situations like this one and also to transfer data to another iPhone.
