How can I get schooltime to not be grayed out on my child's apple watch?

I am trying to turn off schooltime on my daughter's watch; however, when I open her watch on my watch app, it is grayed out, meaning I can't edit schooltime. How can I edit or turn off schooltime when it is grayed out from the app?

Hi Cristyhope,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

You can edit the Schooltime schedule right from the device that was used to set it up. From the iPhone that was used to setup it up, you can tap on Edit Schedule to make changes.

Set up Schooltime
1. Open the Apple Watch app on the iPhone used to manage the watch.
2. Tap My Watch, tap Family Watches, then tap a watch.
3. Tap Done, then tap Schooltime.
4. Turn on Schooltime, then tap Edit Schedule.
5. Choose the days and times you want Schooltime to be active on the watch.
6. Tap Add Time if you want to set up multiple schedules during a day—from 8:00 a.m. to noon and then 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., for example.
iPhone showing the Edit Schedule screen for Schooltime. Every Day, Every Weekday, and Customize Days options appear at the top, with Every Weekday selected. From and To hours are in the middle of the screen and an Add Time button is below.

You can find these steps in Get started with Schooltime on Apple Watch - Apple Support.

Regards.
