How to change iPhone 14 passcode

I want to change the passcode. I have not forgotten it, and I don't want to restore my phone. On-line instructions tell me to go to settings, and choose "Face ID & Passcode". But there is NO such menu option under settings. I have temporarily lost the use of one hand, so I can no longer hold the phone and put in my passcode. I would also like to add more face IDs because it can't seem to recognize me many times. But those settings are no longer under Privacy -- no place.... I'm on an iphone 14 IOS 16.3.1

Unfortunately, I don't have an iPhone 14, but have a 3rd gen iPhone SE which doesn't support Face ID ... just Touch ID. I can confirm on my phone, that there is a "Touch ID & Passcode" option about three menu items above the "Privacy & Security" one. That is basically where I believe "Face ID & Passcode" should appear on your phone.

Sorry, I don't know why you are not seeing it. You may want to contact Apple Support directly for further assistance with this issue. To do so, simple select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.

I figured out why my iphone 14 doesn't have "Face ID & Passcode" under settings. It is a fairly new phone, so it must have come this way. To change a passcode, one has to first ALLOW passcodes to be changed. Why didn't they tell me this?

Under Settings-Accessibility-Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions - Passcode Changes - allow. ALLOW ALLOW.

JEEZEE. It is amazing that NONE of the Apple directions to change passcode tells us we first must command our phone to allow it. Once I figured this out -- Sure enough, "Face ID & Passcode" appears in my settings screen. WHY does apple not tell us this when we get a new phone? We can NOT change our passcode EVER, unless we first ALLOW it, behind a zillion obscure menus.

Thank you TESSERAX for trying to help me. There was no way you can have known. I only figured it out after HOURS and HOURS and HOURS of frustrating work.

Hmm. AFAIK, for an iPhone 14 the only option would be: Settings > Face ID & Passcode. The article provided that information to you. Why you are not seeing it on your phone is not something I can verify as I don't have an iPhone 14 available to try. Sorry!

My only thought would be to perform a "Forced Restart" to see if you can get this menu option resolved ... but may be difficult, without assistance, to perform with only a single hand. Maybe someone can be available to help you with this.
