iPhone not sending or receiving pictures

I'm having the same issue, can't receive photos, shared contacts etc, it's frustrating and nothing I do seems to fix it. Apple needs to sort this soon. thinking of changing to Samsung, they don't seem to have these issues.

I just sent in the information about my phone I see a lot of people are having the same problem, I have to send my pictures to my granddaughter IPhone 13 so she can send my pictures of my family members. my mms and sms turn off help me this is ridiculous. That’s why a lot of people know have androids is it Apple is the worst or certain things

My iPhone also wouldn’t show pic messages.

I tried this and this worked

go to messages turn them all off

turn phone off remove and remove the SIM card.

replace SIM card and turn phone on.

go back to messages turn them back on and it will restart all the messages.

it will take a moment for the messages to start to show.

that should fix the problem hopefully

if Apple wanted you to send pictures over your iPhone using Messages, they could have easily set this option as default. However, Apple has failed to do this. Perhaps there is some financial gain to be had by Apple by doing this. Perhaps it!s been done as a cruel joke by bored developers. I guess we'll never know. "Apple makes it easy".

All of a sudden pictures being sent from my iPhone14 Pro aren't sending correctly through text to my wife, who has iPhone15. Discovered the problem after my wife tried to send me pictures while out. All settings are enabled properly. I just did the download last week to iOS17.5.1 Hope Apple gets their sh-t together and fixes this. I called my carrier and it's not them.

OK, this worked for me on a 6 Plus.

Go to Settings --> General --> "Reset" OR "Transfer or Reset Phone" .. whichever displays on your phone --> Reset (near the bottom of the screen)

You will receive a list of options. Choose Reset Network Settings

Let the phone reset the network settings and it will reboot.

My problem was fixed after these steps.

After recent update my iphone 14 to ios 18.0 is so slow and will not send photos to another iphone via imessage even under wifi with adequate storage and speeds of over 400!! Do better apple! Ive done everything it says to do and nope! It sends one photo then if I try another I have to turn off phone etc 🥵😡🤯

Does seem to be very hit or miss since 16.4.1 upgrade. My iPhone is not sending or receiving images (tried every fix)

Same problem here. Tried every fix but issue persists. Update 16.4.1 has a definite bug that needs to be addressed.

It’s been driving me mad. When can we expect a fix? Does anyone know?

I hope soon! It’s turned into a massive inconvenience. My clients are used to receiving product photos via text. I’m having to send them via email and making apologies for Apple. SMH

I am also having the same issue. All is see is this little icon with a download button but it won’t let me click on it much less download the photo.

I have turned my phone off and left it for 5 minutes and when I turned it back on, I was getting picture messages. The oldest trick in the book worked for me.

I had the same problem - turning the phone off and back on fixed it for me!

Same for my wife’s phone. I have tried everything….no joy
