Homepod Equalizer

If you’re using an iPhone, then there’s equalizer presets in settings under music that sets the HomePod output..

I love the sound of my HomePod mini for my room. I had some issues at first with Dolby Atmos albums sounding weird but I resolved it by turning off home controls and app access in control center settings and then always having an app on screen on my iPhone. If you want to play Dolby Atmos sometimes it’s good in the beginning to toggle it off and back on in the home app. I have never gotten a Dolby Atmos logo on my phone when playing on my HomePod but you can tell it is.

…and the new Metallica is scorching on this thing! It’s so small and it’s like, where is this sound coming from 😀 maybe you disagree

I apologize for the dumb comment. EQ in Apple Music settings doesn’t control HomePod output. There’s only reduce bass and sound check in Home app.

There does not seem to be an equalizer option for the HomePod. It’s good to hear that you found the bass option to adjust. What you can do though is provide some feedback to Apple for changes you’d like to see made that would benefit your experience. Here’s the link - Product Feedback

If you’re controlling your HomePod from your iPhone try turning off control center access in apps and turning off home controls in control center (which you can find in settings under control center). I got full Dolby Atmos sound this way.
