Restore Document From Freeform App

I lost all my Freeform files. No way to recover trying to fix a share file issues, it has a sync problem. Now I have lost days of work. I do not recommend this apps. Too risky to use. I have to bite the bullet now. It’s very disappointing and frustrating. Apple should withdraw the app from the store.

Below are steps that might help you restore deleted Freeform boards.

"Recover a recently deleted board

If you change your mind about deleting a board, open Recently Deleted to recover the board.

If you delete a board that you started and shared with others, it no longer appears on anyone’s device.

1. While browsing All Boards, tap Recently Deleted in the sidebar.
2. If you’re in Split View, tap , then tap Recently Deleted.
3. Do one of the following:

• Recover a board: Touch and hold the thumbnail or name of the recently deleted board, then tap Recover.
• Recover several boards: Tap Select in the top-right corner, then tap the boards you want to recover. (A checkmark appears as you select each one.) Tap Recover at the bottom of the screen.
• Permanently remove a recently deleted board: Touch and hold the board, tap Delete, then tap Delete.

Deleted boards remain in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

If you delete a board you’ve been added to as a participant, you may be able to access it again if you still have the link you received when you were invited to open the board."

The deleted documents are not displayed in "Recently deleted". The app is so crappy it removed my boards upon merging and removed them permanently. Cool, huh?

This is not a merging, this is replacing. Guess Apple devs should learn some basics on how things should work and what's the difference between Merge and Replace

This just happened to me as well. Awful, I just lost days of work. I was trying to share a document and kept getting "Document has not synced yet, please wait before attempting to share." So I waited overnight and I still got the same message. So I tried to toggle the iCloud sync setting for Freeform and as soon as I did, all of my freeform documents disappeared. Gone. Days of work gone.
