Ive had to have this screen replaced once already. Keyboard too.. first time it had the stage lighting issue and then just died. now its doing this

Did apple ever admit they need to replace the 15" screens as well as the 13"?

2019 13" MacBook Pro Screen Failure - Design Flaw? I’ve been a longtime Apple user, and up until now, I’ve been happy with my 2019 13” MacBook Pro. So, I took my MacBook to an Apple Store, where they informed me the screen needs to be replaced—for a whopping $598. Yep, nearly $600 to fix a laptop that’s barely worth $350 at this point. Now, here’s my issue: I have much older PC laptops that still have fully functioning screens. Why would a MacBook Pro screen fail after just five years of light use? This isn’t just bad luck—it’s becoming clear that many people are experiencing the same issue. From what I’ve read, there may be a design flaw where the screen overheats and damages a connection. The GPU itself is fine, as my Mac runs perfectly when connected to an external monitor. Of course, this happens just outside of warranty—because why wouldn’t it? Apple seems to have a habit of these “random unknown issues” conveniently appearing once warranty coverage expires. And let’s be honest, most of us can use a computer for many years without feeling the need to upgrade, so what better way to force an upgrade than a conveniently expensive repair? Bottom line: I was already considering a new computer, but after this, I can say with certainty that I will never buy another Apple computer again. Thanks for reading. Macbook Pro 2017 screen issue I purchased the Macbook Pro 14” 2021 few days ago and switched it on today morning. All went on smoothly. I returned to my old macbook pro 2017, which i promised to my daughter as a gift but coincidentally when switching it on earlier today, the screen started malfunction and showing verticle 3cms purple lines. The latter would improve when closing the screen partly about 30deg. I went to the nearest apple store who were well aware of this issue and they advised me a complete screen change for about 1500$. That was crazy and i was really disappointed with this apple product. Now i have got a new model and i really dont know what to expect in future. Apple should help out for these kind of manufacturing defects so as maintain clients satisfaction & trust. Kindly advise what should i do in such situation? Thank you. MacBook Pro Screen broken My 2016 macbook pro screen is broken. It has a bunch of lines on the side and the rest is black. I am able to use an external monitor. I don't have apple care. How much will it cost to get a new screen?

You would need to replace LCD panel or logic board at retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

spend more money on this thing?? crazy. its needed a new screen, keyboard and logic board already. are the newer ones better? I know the problems ive had with mine are all too common occurrences.. which is absolutely unforgivable for such an expensive machine
