I cant work out how to close the 1password app to i can delete it. I never want to use it.

Hi .....I want to delete 1password app ( I never used it) but can't seem to close it so that I can delete it from my MacBook Pro. Any advice? thanks

The reason you can't quit the app so that you can uninstall it is probably due to the fact it invokes a constantly running background process when you log in. The simplest solution in that case is to restart your Mac in "Safe Mode" How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support, and uninstall it while in that mode.


Then, restart your Mac normally.


If that technique does not work I suppose you will need to consult its documentation or support website: Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support.
