Apple watch keeps pausing in the middle of a run

While doing outdoor runs, apple watch keeps pausing every minute or so.

The only hintr I found here is to disable autopause.

But that cannot be the proper solution, as I actually *want* the watch to pause measuring a run *if* I am not running.

But this happens while I am actually running.

So how does the watch check if I am running, and why does it not detect me being the whole time very well in a 8-9min/km pace?

Can that be a sign of broken hardware?
