Corrupt file in Powerpoint

Any way to remove a corrupt file in powerpoint on a Mac?

What could be the cause of this Powerpoint file that seems to keep getting corrupted?

Is the PowerPoint file created with the latest version of PowerPoint? Also, what folder are you saving it in? Can you try saving it into a different folder and/or 'save as' using a different file name. To see if perhaps putting it in a different folder or renaming it may prevent that corruption?

If you received the file from someone else, it may have been corrupted by them. Also, do you only experience corruption with this file only or is this something you notice with other applications also? If so, you may want to run Disk Doctor in the Utilities folder that is in Applications.
