Unable to send Note as email

I used to able to send the text contained in Note on the Notes app as an email to myself or third parties. Lately when I try to do this the email contains no test. Instead there is a small icon that supposedly allows me to view the text, but nothing happens when I press the button. The problem seems related to the fact that my text messages are now being stored in the Cloud. I get a message saying the note I am trying to transmit will be downloaded from the Cloud before I send the email, and I don’t remember getting this message before I began having this problem.

1.) Open the note you want to share.
2.) Tap on the share icon the Share button
3.) Select Email or Message and send.


If it's not properly working for you, follow the steps below:


1.) Close the Notes app.

2.) Restart your device.

2.) Install any pending updates that might be available for your iPhone. This can usually help with unique issues, since updates include fixes. Just in case, this link can guide you through the update process: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


1.)Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2.)Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3.)Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4.) If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5.) Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.
