The "Import to Notes..." feature is greyed out.

The "Import to Notes..." feature is greyed out. I've already exported from EverNote, no issues there. But, I cannot get it to import into the Notes App.

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 12.5

How can you import a Pages document into Notes? I want to be able to import a pages document into my Notes app [working on desktop] - just tried [File-Import to Notes] and selected or tried to the document and it was greyed out and could not be selected.

Notes, copy paste doesn't work I cannot copy-paste from notes to other applications or within the same Notes document.

On the left highlight a different note line.
