Lost #images red magnifier app from iMessage

Image (animated gif) App icon has suddenly disappeared from iMessage tool bar. Can this be restored?

I have tried the … at the far right of Appbar (below the message text input field) and the red magnifier isn’t in the list of apps as an an option to select edit/add.

iMessage icon disappeared from bottom of iPhone home screen iMessage app icon disappeared from bottom of iPhone Home Screen. I used to have 4 icons there: safari, phone, iMessage & music library. The app is still loaded on my phone. I am opening it by going to App Store & clicking open. How do I reload iMessage app icon back to screen preferably back to bottom of Home Screen. Gif/ Images in iMessage disappeared Why does my iMessages icon keep disappearing from iMessage? When I go to add a gif image for messages I do not have the icon. What happened to it and why? I am up to date with current iOS. I tried to reapply form the “3dot” menu and it’s not even an option to do so. I have shut down app and restarted the system, checked the region and keyboard. It has populated once and now it’s gone again. Help!!
