All of my contacts have been saved under an Exchange account. I'm deleting this email account, so I want to transfer all my contacts over to iCloud. How can I move my 1000+ contacts under a Microsoft Exchange account to iCloud?

Sign into the exchange account in a browser on a computer.
In People export the contacts to a csv file.
Sign into icloud.com in the computer using your apple id and in contacts import the csv.
If it is a Mac you can make sure only icloud account has contacts toggled on and open the contacts app, then import the csv
Check through them to check the data is in the correct fields.
