What is Setup Failed (203)? After I reset HomePod 1, I can’t setup it!

We recommend that you try the steps in the link below since you're having difficulty setting up your HomePod.


If you can't set up HomePod mini or HomePod - Apple Support


To perform the steps in the article we suggested above, click and open the link, read the subheadings below, and try each step.


1) Make sure that your device is updated to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS and has the Home and Music app

2) Check your Wi-Fi connection

3) Check that two-factor authentication is turned on for your Apple ID and iCloud Keychain is turned on

4) Check the Home app


We recommend the steps above because they will show you what to do if you can't set up your HomePod mini or HomePod, or if you see an error message during setup.


If you're still experiencing the same issue, we recommend contacting Apple Support directly so that they can work with you to find a solution.
