Is there a way to utilize HomePods as a speaker for the Mac Pro?

I've noticed the setup instructions are exclusive to an iPhone and an iPad however, as is with many components, there are ways to attach/operate some devices through an application or a simple tweak in the settings. Is there a way to utilize the home pods as a speaker for the Mac Pro?
