Trying to stream using Airplay to a Samsung TV and it is not working

Hello community!

I'm trying to use Airplay to stream a documentary via the Hoopla app on my iPhone to my Samsung UHD 8 Series TV. My phone screen says it is playing on the TV but it is not. It looks as though it attempts to connect, the wheels spins on the TV screen, and then it snaps back to the main image. Wifi is strong, bluetooth is enabled. What am I missing?

Appreciate any help you can send my way! Thank you!

Thanks for the reply! Both devices are using the same wifi. The TV definitely supports AirPlay. We've restarted both devices, as well as the router, and it's still not working.

Frustrating.

You must make sure that the device you are trying to Screen Mirror with is on the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone. You also need to make sure that the device supports AirPlay.

If both devices are on the same network and you know it supports AirPlay, try restarting both devices.
