Connecting controller to play games

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe it is impossible to connect a drone’s remote controller to an iPad for the purpose of playing video games.

While many third-party Game Controllers are supported by iPadOS, you’ll not be able to use a Drone flight-controller with your iPad.

think pretty few select controllers are all that are supported

they only seem to mention xbox and playstation controllers

there is no generic way to communicate with controllers to ios devices so unless your drone controller manufacturer have some guide I don't believe you can do it.

Here are some keyboards that you can buy from Apple to use with your iPad:

iPad Keyboards - Apple

For using external keyboards with your iPad, you can use Bluetooth Keyboards by setting them to pairing mode and then finding them in the Bluetooth settings page:

For using a Wired USB Keyboard via a Lightning to USB adapter you must use a Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter - Apple. (Although it specifies camera, it works for keyboards too.)

As far as I know, you cannot use your iPhone as a controller to play video games on your iPad.
