How do I stop my Apple Music automatically playing songs on iPhone 16? I have iphone 16. I have the latest OS. I'm posting because NOTHING stops the music from playing other than taking the APP off the phone. I have automatic airplay off, general settings music off, infinity off within the app, I have done everything including creating a script that humorously shows up on the homescreen that says it's running WHEN THE MUSIC STARTS PLAYING. And yes, it is set to default to any bluetooth device that is connected. So, has anyone ever actually figured out how to make this stop? Anyone? Hey there sylvia.sylvia,

Music may play automatically depending on certain circumstances. To verify, does this issue occur when you connect to a Bluetooth device or when connecting to your car stereo?

Steps that may help in the meantime include:

Closing the app playing music: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch

Restarting your iPhone: Restart your iPhone

Updating iOS: Update your iPhone or iPad (Be sure to back up before updating)
