Every time I open my Mac from sleep my two external hard disk icons have moved on my Desktop. I want them to be in the top right hand corner, but they keep moving.
My Desktop View Options are 'Sort by' none and 'Stack by' none. So it's not that.
I keep moving the icons to the top right hand corner. How do I keep them there?
I think the problem is since updating to Ventura.

Old issue, new issue, what changed?
Top right corner is default area for things added to Desktop: screen shots etc.,
as a test try lower right corner and compare your results....
The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.2.1 I would start there.

To trouble shoot further you can:
—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support
This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.
—A SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies.
a reboot will put it back to normal mode.
This test will tell you if third party interference; most* extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

It's an issue I've has since updating to Ventura.
The Macintosh HD icon stays in the very top right hand corner, but the two external disk icons move around! See screen grab of how I want things.
