Hi 4thTRY,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you're not able to sync your photos using iCloud Photos. To address this behavior, make sure that you have iCloud Photos enabled on all devices and available storage in iCloud.

Turn on iCloud Photos

Make sure that you set up iCloud and sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. If you have a PC, you need Windows 7 or later and iCloud for Windows.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. Go to Settings > [your name].
2. Tap iCloud.
3. Tap Photos, then turn on iCloud Photos.

On your Mac
1. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings or choose Apple menu  > System Preferences.
2. Click Apple ID.
3. Click iCloud in the sidebar, then select Photos.

If you need to save space on your device

iCloud Photos keeps all your photos and videos in their original, high-resolution version. To save storage space on your device, you can turn on Optimize Storage.
If you turn on Optimize Storage, iCloud Photos automatically manages the size of your library on your device. Your original photos and videos are stored in iCloud and space-saving versions are kept on your device. Your library is optimized only when you need space, starting with the photos and videos you access least. You can download the original photos and videos over Wi-Fi or cellular when you need them.

If you turn on Download Originals, iCloud Photos keeps your original, full-resolution photos and videos in iCloud and on your device.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
2. Tap Photos.
3. Choose Optimize [device] Storage.
4. An iPhone showing Photos settings for iCloud, including the options to Optimize iPhone Storage or Download and Keep Originals
On your Mac
1. Open the Photos app and click Photos in the menu bar.
2. Click Settings or click Preferences.
3. Go to the iCloud tab and choose a storage setting.

These steps can be found in Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support.

Regards.

Thank you! I signed both devices out of Apple ID. Waited one hour. Then, I went into iMac and briefly turned off the iCloud photo sync. Then reactivated. Now it is all working. Concerned latest Ventura update flaky. I also had to turn off and on again the iWatch unlock to get functioning properly. My iPad Air4 remained in sync with iPhone 12 throughout this.
