Does this problem happen on all accounts or on just one?


Please restart your iPhone. See this link for help in doing so, and see if that doesn’t fix the problem.


If that doesn’t help, please try to remove the affected email account. Then re-add it.


To remove your email account, go to Settings > Mail, then tap on Accounts. Select the specific email account you wish to remove, and tap on Delete Account.


After the account is removed, re-add it by following the steps in this link.


Also, keep your device fully updated. If there is a new update available, download and install it. That might also fix the problem.
