Putting my music collection on my iPad Pro

Hello,

I am a throwback. That being said, here’s how much of a throwback I am. My question deals with the good old days of the old fashion iTunes native app built-in to Apple devices way back in the day. They weren’t 1 million different subscriptions that you could have where once you discontinued the subscription you lost everything back in those days. here is my question.

I still have my music collection both on CDs and downloads that I have been compiling for more than 20 maybe 30 years approximately and it is quite extensive as you can imagine. I am wondering if I am able to get my music collection, which is mostly in MP3 format Uploaded to one of my mini cloud accounts that I have and then downloaded onto my iPad Pro. If there’s a way that my device will be able to recognize the music and I’ll be able to play it? I already have way too many subscriptions to this that and the other thing, and I don’t want to spend any more money going with Apple Music . What is mine is mine and I don’t want to lose it. Should I decide to discontinue a subscription. My question is will I need to get a separate music player app or is there something native to the iPad Pro and or an iPhone 13 Pro Max?
