Music - non purchased- transfer question

I have about 700 non purchased songs on an iPhone 6 that I would like to get on my iPhone 11. If I join Apple Music , will I be able to do this? And if I then cancel my Apple Music, will my non purchased songs that I put on my I phone 6 by using I tunes a few years ago still be available for me on both phones.

I just want to make sure before I do anything as don’t want to lose the songs altogether from my I phone 6 but would really like to have them on my I phone 11 and I don’t mind trying Apple Music, especially if it means I can transfer my non purchased library easily but don’t want to lose all music if I then cancel. Can someone please advise, I’m not too great with these things. Thank you.

The “tunes” i.e. content will need to be stored outside the App as MP3s or whatever. You can copy the content to your devices using FE, or if you’re listening from home, it will work across the local network to fetch them from a shared location (Pro version). It also works on many cloud servers, although I haven’t tried that option. The license is valid for all your devices including MacBook/Mac using the same ID, no need to pay multiple times.
