Ventura 13.2.1 - anyone having problems with multiple screens/sleep/wallpaper issues?

After another Mac user (gk254) did a great job of finding a workaround for the file sharing mess created by the recent Ventura 13.2.1 update (thanks!), I wanted to see if anyone else has also had problems with multiple screen setups.

Since updating, when my 3-screen setup on my Mac Mini goes to sleep and I wake up the system again, at least one screen is either blank or showing all snow. Plus, the images I have selected for wallpaper tend to randomize. Rebooting doesn't always solve the problem; sometimes I must also reset the SMC (system management controller) by pressing shift/control/option for 7 seconds at bootup, then pressing the power button again.

Anyone else having similar problems?

Thanks.

Hi kZhivago,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that your displays aren't showing the wallpaper as you'd expect or they're blank or show snow on the screen.

Does this happen before your login or after?

You can also reference this article to help you to troubleshoot your external displays further: If your external display is dark or low resolution - Apple Support

"Check cables and connections

Make sure that your external display's power cable and video cable are connected securely and correctly at both ends. Learn more about how to connect a display to your Mac.

Your external display will be dark or use a lower resolution or refresh rate if your video cable or any adapter you may be using with it doesn't support the resolution and refresh rate of the display. If you're using a Thunderbolt or USB-C adapter, it must also be compliant with DisplayPort Alt Mode, Thunderbolt 3, or Thunderbolt 4.

If the display is connected to a Mac laptop computer with a closed lid, make sure that the Mac is connected to power and using an external keyboard and mouse."

We look forward to your reply.

Cheers!
