iOS mail is no longer syncing with my work Exchange account - new emails are being pushed in, but messages read on my computer are showing as "unread" on my phone and iPad. This started about two weeks ago.

Deleted and re-add the mail exchange account on your phone.
I have same problem with iOS mail (gmail) since 16.3.1. Deleting & reinstalling didn’t fix it

then the next step is to talk to gmail support or look at their help site.
