How can I play m3u streams directly in safari or other browser

Hello,

i use actually new iphone 14 (ios 16.3.1) and would like to repeat m3u files directly in browser safari or others too.

The problem is i can't do that. I have the feeling that no browser can do that directly at time. Only when i you use my macbook (macos catalina 10.15.7) and this is an old device i can play the m3u streams in safari (15.6.1).

It can't be that no browser in ios can't do that? I don't want use applications to copy the stream url in there to repeat the m3u files.

Have anyone the same problem? It's this a security feature that no browser can't play directly m3u files in iOS?

To answer your last question, I'm having the same issue. It worked fine for me up until around a year ago at least. I presume they have removed support for this or changed how it works. It's a pity, as it was helpful for accessibility.
