Not all photos in the "recent" album are shown after sync with macbook

After enabling photo sync on my macbook, not all photos are displayed in the «Recent». They are still visible in the library and other albums. This is very frustrating since most apps use «Recent» and I can't find many photos there.

Before that, I only synced photos between the iCloud and my iPhone and everything was ok. Yes, and there were no photos on my macbook before.

The Recents album is not supposed to be sorted chronologically by the date the photos have been taken. It is sorted by the date the photos have been added to the library.


Before enabling iCloud photo sync on macbook, I imported photos from my iPhone directly to transfer them faster. Most likely this is the problem. When importing, the modified date of some old photos has been changed.
