iPhone 11 buzzing noise

i have an iPhone 11. Very recently, every time I call someone, it makes this buzzing/humming noise in the background. When I put it on speaker, or use my AirPods, the sound stops. What could be the problem?

Try a Forced Restart, it resolves many issues:

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

If it does not help I suggest taking your phone to an Apple Store for testing.
