iPad air 5th generation BLURRY WALLPAPERS after transfer from an plder iPad

I just migrated from an iPad 6th generation to an iPad Air 5th generation, and I'm noticing how my wallpapers (high quality jpegs pics shot and edited from me) look slightly blurry, or simply of a lower quality, like they are being zoomed and definition is not good. It applies to both home and lock screen. I tried with many pics but same result. Why on an iPad 5-6 years older wallpapers look great and on a newer and more powerful iPad they look this bad???

iPad doesn't have the functionality of customizing wallpapers like iPhones in the new IOS update, so what's going on?

HELP PLEASE
