How to connect the AirPod max on the airplane monitors

It might be too late if you’re already on the plane, but in the future I would recommend you look at a device like this which can be found in Apple’s online store:

https://store.apple.com/xc/product/HP8B2ZM/AIt lets you plug it into the aux jack of the plane monitor and uses Bluetooth to transmit the signal to your AirPods Max, so you don’t have to go through the hassle of trying to connect the Max to the monitor itself (and many monitors don’t even have that functionality).
