This started happening just this week and I’ve tried everything to resolve it.
when making calls on FaceTime they can see me and I can see myself but I can’t see them I see just initials and it doesn’t matter who I speak too?
this is super frustrating

im having this problem but for him his camera is on , he sent me a screenshot from his phone and the cameras on and nothing blocking it but on my phone i just see his contact pic and name

This could mean that they other person has their camera off...or are doing other things on their iPhone while talking to you.
FaceTime not working (can only see initials of other person)
