I am a big fan of the new iPad lock screen (with my custom background and the clock) and would like it to stay on until I manually turn it off. I don’t seem to be able find an option to do this - can anyone point me to the setting where this can be set? I am using iOS 1.16.3.1 on an iPad Air 5th Generation.

Go to Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Auto-Lock and select Never. This will prevent from automatically turning off itself.

Your solution keeps the iPad on, i.e. it does not go to the lock screen. What I am looking for is a solution to keep the lock screen (the screen where one inputs the password) on.
