My Apple TV 4k isn't giving me the option for lossless audio.

My Apple TV 4k has no option to select lossless audio for music. I'm in settings/apps/music and it's not there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When will Apple Music for Apple TV update to include Hi-Res Lossless Audio? Lossless audio was launched in 2021, yet the current support is limited to 24-bit/48kHz. It seems like a missed opportunity to not update to 24-bit/192kHz as I imagine many have Apple TV as part of a Hi-fi system set-up. Trying to access Hi-Res Lossless Audio through other Apple devices is challenging.

Lost ability to play lossless in Apple Music on AppleTV 4k I have the newest version of the AppleTV 4K and was able to play lossless in Apple Music. I am no longer able to play lossless in Apple Music. I logged out, logged back in, restarted, reset X 2 and still no ability to play lossless. I reached out to Apple support and they ended up referring me to the Apple Store and they replaced my Apple TV 4k. The new AppleTV 4k will not play lossless either. I am assuming that there must be some setting or something in my set-up is preventing lossless music. The AppleTV is connected to an Onkyo home theatre through an HDMI cable. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Did you go to settings as described here, under "How to listen to lossless on your Apple TV 4K"

That feature requires the 4K model Apple TV. It is not supported on the A1625 model.
