check your not downloading a .EXE installer and download a .DMG

When I tried, I received Zoom error code 10004 and could not update Zoom and Zoom would not function. Zoom not working. I have just bought a MacBook Air and I have just updated to MacOs Monterrey. I downloaded Zoom from the webpage and when I try to open the app a message appears that says ''you can't open this app because it is not compatible with this Mac''. I need the app to work and that's mainly why I bought the computer, so if anyone can help me, I'd be grateful.
