Junk Mail is not syncing on my iphone in the mail app

Hi! After this recent upgrade to IOS 16.3.1 it appears that my outlook junk mail folder is not syncing with my iphone. I tried all the things... changing the push, fetch feature, deleting the app and reinstalling, deleting the account and reactivating. None of these work. Does anyone have a fix for this? FYI I can view my junk mail folder in outlook on my MacBook Air. Thanks!

As a start try deleting the account in Settings/Mail/Accounts, restarting your phone, and adding it back.

Are you using the Outlook app or Apple Mail?
