Printer failure with my new Apple Macbook air
I get a message 'Filter' failed when I try to print with my new MacBook Air . What does this mean. How can I fix it?

The printer is Brother HLL2390DW. I just solved the problem by deleting the printer and reinstalling it. The problem seems to be related to Apple. Their newer computers do not seem to recognize some older printers, without reinstalling them. Thanks for your interest.
