Same Song Over and Over

macOS Big Sur - 11.7.4

I open a playlist in the Music app on the iMac and it doesn't matter whether I choose Play or Shuffle, the song repeats infinitely. What is wrong?

When I launch Apple Music and select a song -- from either the songs view or a playlist -- and then press the Play button, it does not play the selected song. How to resolve the 'Add to Playlist' glitch on Apple Music on my MacBook Air I'm using Apple Music version 1.4.2.83 on my MacBook Air M1. In the last few days the "Add to Playlist" function no longer works for me. This has been very handy for me when I'm managing playlists. Previously, if "Add to Playlist" was selected from the menu that comes up after right clicking on a song, all the playlists in my library were listed. The most recent playlist was listed first. As can be seen in the screen capture below, now the only option is "New Playlist". Does anyone have insight into why this changed and how to return to the previous function? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How to fix the 14 second song playback issue on Mac? While playing songs on my MacBook or iMac in the Music app (former iTunes) some, but not all, songs stop after exactly 14 seconds. From then on these songs will not play more than 14 seconds. The Genius Bar at my local Apple Store could not solve the problem. The problem does not occur on my iPhone or iPad. Very strange and quite annoying. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, has any solution worked for you. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Presumably you have single track repeat engaged. See Shuffle or repeat songs in Music on Mac - Apple Support.

Thanks Alan Turing - the link you provided was the answer to my dillemma. Why I couldn't come up with that on my own shall remain a mystery. At any rate, I do appreciate the help you provided.
