python IDLE not working

Running Mac Mini M2 Ventura 13.2.1

Just installed Python 3.11 from the python website

going through the steps and when I click on the IDLE app, nothing happens. More precisely, it seems to open but then nothing.

I check stack overflow and also google and turns out people have been voicing this same issue for multiple operating systems going back many years.

Completely enraging. Apple, Python is the most popular software programming language in the world. How is it possible that you don't set up some kind fo fix for this?
