Apple Wallet won't let me add balance to my Suica Japan card

Hi there!

Anybody tried to recently add a balance to their SUICA JAPAN card into their Apple Wallet?

I've tried several times with different credit cards but it keeps rejecting it.

Sounds like from previous inquires, it started after last Apple update in Fall 2022.

Any insight would be appreciated! :)

Suica users report Apple Card working for recharge, PASMO recharge seems on again/off again. Suggest contacting the issuer to see if they are blocking on their side for fraud prevention, happens sometimes.

VISA not currently working for adding money to Suica or PASMO, use Mastercard or AMEX
