Airpods Pro 2, have no sound with android after using them with Macbook

My Airpods Pro 2 started recently with a problem (until today they worked fine on any device). Every time I use them with my Macbook and I switch to my Android phone I can't hear any sound, although music ou video continues to play (no sound from the phone ou from the airpods).

I have to reset the Airpods and pair them again to the android. Everything works fine, but then I use them with the Macbook the problem comes back. If I connect the Airpods to the Android phone again...no sound.

The firmware is up to date (5B58).

Does anyone have the same problem and any clue on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Hello pmfelix,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. You mentioned that you're unable to hear any audio when trying to use your AirPods with your Android device after they were being used with your MacBook. It also appears that you attempted to reset your AirPods, everything works after that but the issue continues after you use them with your MacBook again. Resetting them was a great step to attempt. If this issue is only occurring with your Android device, you might want to check for firmware updates or possibly reach out to Android support to further isolate this audio issue: Android Help

However, if this unique sound issue continues to occur across multiple devices, even after resetting your AirPods, you might want to reach out to Apple Support for additional help. They might have to investigate this issue further with you. You can use the following link to reach them: Get Support

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Best of luck.

Thank you for your reply.

I didn't want to complicate the matter, but this happened before, with the previous firmware. I reached out to the Apple support and they suggested that I updated because there was a new firmware version. It work...for a while. After one or two months it happened again.

I'll try to contact the support again.

Thanks!
