Macbook Pro 15" 2009, Mac Book air 11" 2011, Safari, firefox, brave, Macbook pro linux ubuntu with brave browser. The search menu row got activate auto select. so it´s almost imposible typing and searching numbers with more than 3 digits, any one got the same issue, how to fix it?

thanks for your answer, keyboard shortcuts its not the issue, so I record my screen on macbook pro 14" with ventura on safari and use the keyboards shortcuts that don´t fix the auto select text, in the computer app these not happened. The full guide don´t mention about how to deactivate the auto select text look more like a program issue, with the parameters that include the input row on the search of the text we type on the monitor, hope the video helps, sorry for my english could be great if your try in you computer I hope it´s not an IP software issue.

When the website registers a pause in the typing it will search for the text you input. Tapping the right arrow on your keyboard should allow you to enter more characters in the search field if needed. Give that a try as well as pasting a longer search term typed elsewhere to verify that works.
