Home Screens Disappear

iPhone 12 running the latest version of iOS just updated earlier today.

A couple of hours ago I had about 10 home screens, all of them nicely arranged with all my apps in order of importance. I went to sleep and when I woke up all my home screens except the very first one had disappeared. Freak out!

Naturally I googled what to do and it said to rest my finger on a blank space until everything started wiggling and then press the search button and I would be able to see them all, it would provide an array of all of them. I did so, and it only shows the first one, lonely, forlorn, all its friends having disappeared into thin air.

I also rebooted the phone.

Help! A lot of work went into organising all those apps.
