Battery

Dear customer services,

I have two questions about my new iPhone 14 Pro.

Firstly, my partner bought it for me in Dec 2022 as my Christmas present, and I open it and started to set it up on 27 Dec 2022 but it was not successful in transferring from my old iPhone to the new one due to the WiFi issue, hence I stop to use it until 17 Feb 2023 just done all the transfer from my old iPhone 7 plus.

I found my battery seems to run out very quickly, not as the product indicated up to 23 hours of video playback. I don't play online games or listen to music often on my phone, the main usage is messages or texts and calls, but not all the time.

I need to charge it every day, it makes me very frustrated to have this beautiful new phone.

Secondly, as I mentioned, this iphone 14 Pro was a Xmas present bought by my partner, he booked it online by his Apple ID. Sine that, my screen shows I have to key in his Apple ID password when I switch on my Mac Air Notebook every single time. How should I get rid of it because it is make me feel trouble.

Thirdly, I just click your promotion programme which is I can subscribe three month free Apple Care then Paid since the fourth month by £9.99 per month. But it was showed unable to successful to enjoy this promotion, could you please tell me what happens?

Thank you for your helps in advance and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Serinna

Try some of these options too.

  1. Avoid Screen Mirroring
  2. Put on Low Power Mode
  3. Put Auto-Lock on (1 min):- with the Low power mode it will be 30 Sec
  4. Disable Push notifications for apps you do not use often
  5. Keep your iPhone Facedown to prevent notifications to light up the screen
  6. Enable Auto-Brightness:- Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Auto-Brightness [Enable]
  7. When possible, manually lower the brightness from Control Center
  8. If you want to watch continuous Videos/Movies. Stream it on TV or a Monitor
  9. Don't force close apps; Apps that are not on the frontend screen are paused by the system to save energy. Apps require more energy to re-launch. Apps that are open in the background use large memory is a myth and quitting them is counterproductive
  10. Location services may please be allowed only while using the app. Avoid the "Always" option wherever available
  11. Set your iPhone to fetch email & Calendar data from the internet less frequently
  12. Turning off Background App Refresh
  13. Charge before it drops below 20-30%
  14. Periodically Check the Battery Health (Settings > Battery > Battery Health)

This is not true.

Probably you have got an Activation Locked device. Log out and log in with any Apple ID of your choice. Even if the device is purchased with any Apple ID it can use another Apple ID.
