iOS 16.3.1 wifi password not recognised on iPhone and ipad

Upgraded iPad Pro and iPhone 13 max to iOS 16.3.1

Both devices now will not connect to Wi-Fi in my home even though all other devices are connected.they can see the Wi-Fi but continually say Wi-Fi password incorrect

have;

forgot networks

hard restarts

rebooted router

reset network connections

tried manual dns

any ideas, iPad is a useless door stop without Wi-Fi and iPhone is chewing through data.

I use both for work and needs these back of wifi

iPad Pro

Hey Laner66,

We’d be happy to help out. If you’re being told on multiple devices that your password for your Wi-Fi network is incorrect, it’s very likely that it is. Just because other devices are connected, doesn’t indicate that the password you’re puting in currently is the right one.

You’ll want to work with your Internet Service Provider on resetting the password on your modem/router.

Same here. Since the update my iPhone 14 Pro Max can’t connect to either my own Wi-Fi or the Wi-Fi at work. Sometimes it’s connected for a couple of seconds but then I’m back at cellular. Trying to connect manually says that Wi-Fi password is incorrect. Tried rebooting, forgetting the network and resetting all network settings but to no use. I managed to sign in to one Wi-Fi on sixth try but lost connection directly. The other one just keep saying incorrect password.
